The burning of Timberella V represents the letting go of false personal narratives that imprison you, or leave you thinking small.
Timberella realizes that this is a necessary step towards returning to her treetop home.
The original piece was constructed out of dogwood, antlers, hammered brass, silver, black mother of pearl, cedar and pine boughs, and birch bark. The installation occurred on the artist’s frozen pond.
