The Mission
Today, Jodi Rose Studio empowers people through creativity and proven wellness techniques.
What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is a distinct mental health profession that uses art materials (and creative processes) both strategically and prescriptively to help people achieve their goals.
Clinical art therapy addresses specific mental health diagnoses and is typically longer term. Here, Jodi works within a clinical team including a case manager, psychotherapist, and other mental health professionals.
Non-clinical art therapy supports general mental wellness and is typically shorter in duration. Here, Jodi offers art therapy life coaching and other resources to help people manage stress, work/life balance, and change.
Jodi’s clinical practice is currently full with a waiting list. Maintaining a small caseload allows her to show up fully for her clients. If you are looking for support sooner, you can join a non-clinical program (see below) or contact Jodi about life coaching here.
Non-Clinical Offerings
art therapy: is it for you?
Art therapy, and art-based mindfulness, are wonderful resources for adults who:
are experiencing burnout or overwhelm
are looking for fun ways to feel more connected and fulfilled
want more time for rest and play
want to address perfectionism
love incorporating ritual and meaning in daily life
are struggling to make time for themselves
want to to use their creativity for better insight and self-awareness
BENEFITS OF ART THERAPY
Are you wondering if you’re creative enough to benefit from art therapy and art-based mindfulness? Of course you are! Here are some possible outcomes of your work with Jodi:
learn how to express ideas and emotions that are difficult to put into words
feel more connected to your creativity and your true-natured self
process and heal from past and current hurts
improve your mind-body connection
redefine your visions of success, worthiness and well-being
establish better boundaries in life and work
shift your experiences with the inner critic and impostor syndrome
a sense of permission to put yourself first
You don’t need any special artistic talents. In art therapy, we focus more on the process of art making, than on the final product. You get to work with your preferred materials, and choose how to respond to art prompts. When you’re done, Jodi will help you reflect on your work.
